Intruder/Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm & CCTV Specialists in London - Impulse Security
Impulse Fire & Security is a privately owned UK company formed in 1977 by the Managing Director Alan Nash who has over 35 years experience of the Electronic Security Systems industry.
Installation work is carried out by our own fully trained and externally security vetted engineers. We have multi-skilled engineers capable of installing the systems we provide to the highest British Standards and Codes of Practices.
A Maintenance Agreement is recommended following all installations to provide a preventive maintenance service in accordance with the relevant British or European Standards to fully check and test the system. This ensures our systems are kept to a high standard to reduce potential unforeseen problems.
An Emergency Service Engineer is available to customers under our maintenance agreement; this includes 24-hour cover all year round. We provide a 4-hour response to emergency calls with an overall average response/attendance time of between 1 and 2 hours.
We also offer Fully Comprehensive maintenance agreements for customers who desire complete peace of mind. Our Customers have the option of having their systems remotely monitored at our Alarm Receiving Centre where operators are based 24 hours a day to alert Key holders and the Police, Ambulance Service or Fire Brigade.
Monitoring can be provided by a simple Digital Communicator connection to a Public Service Telephone Line (PSTN), BT Redcare (a higher level of signalling) or Dual Path transmission systems, which include GPRS TRAINING.
Our company puts great emphasis on training our engineers to ensure they are fully competent to Install, Service and Maintain our clients systems. Technical training for Engineers includes Planning and the Design of systems in order that they are competent to advise our clients on any changes that have been made to building designs or use that may affect their Security or Safety. Our engineers regularly attend training courses hosted by external training organisations such as: Tavcom, FIA (Fire Industry Association), ICEL (Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting), FETA (Fire Extinguishing Trades Association).
Our apprentices attend College 1 day per week in order to complete an NVQ in Fire Security and Emergency Alarm Systems. This is a 3-year course, which is overseen and administered by SITO the Security Industry Training organisation.
