The Clock Clinic offers comprehensive stock of Antique Clocks from the 18th and 19th Centuries, specialising in English longcase and bracket blocks, but with a selection of decorative French mantel clocks, carriage clocks and various wall clocks. In addition we stock a range of antique barometers of all types.
Founded in 1971, The Clock Clinic Ltd. is a small family run business. With our wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise we are proud to serve London and the surrounding areas with fine quality antique clocks and have been offering a complete clock restoration and watch repair service from the same premises for over forty years.
We carry a comprehensive stock of Antique Clocks from the 18th and 19th Centuries, specialising in and, but with a wide selection of decorative, and various. In addition we stock a range of of all types and a selection of Antique Pocket watches as well as Modern Wristwatches.
Our services range from full repair and restoration of clocks (both the mechanism and case) to overhauling and re-tubing barometers. All clocks and barometers are repaired and restored by our own craftsmen and come with a full one year guarantee. In many circumstances clocks can be delivered to and set up in the new owner’s home and we can arrange shipping worldwide if necessary. Additional services are dial restoration, cabinetwork and preparing valuations for insurance.
We also offer a fully comprehensive watch repair service. A variety of watch brands can be repaired including most of the luxury brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Cartier, Chopard, Tag Heuer. All work is undertaken by our accredited watchmaker and estimates are free.
Our premises house a fully equipped workshop with cleaning and polishing facilities. Onsite, we have three fully qualified Clock and Watchmakers, all certified by the British Horological Institute and members of the BADA, LAPADA and the British Watch and Clock makers Guild. Robert Pedler is a Liveryman of the revered Clockmakers Company Director, rejoined the business in 2014. Alastair worked at The Clock Clinic from 1994 to 2007, leaving to join Christie's King Street as International Clock Specialist while remaining in close contact with Rob and Jane. Alastair has over 20 years of experience in the field of antique clocks and watches and is a Freeman of the Clockmakers’ Company and member of The British Horological Institute.

Another member of the team is Ross Dawkes who joined in 2008 after graduating from West Dean College in Conservation and Restoration of Antique Clocks. In his final year at West Dean he was awarded the prestigious Geoffrey Moss Prize for providing the greatest contribution to the course.
The Clock Clinic is situated in Putney, South West London, close to the start of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race, and convenient for public transport. Putney Mainline Station, with fast regular services to and from Waterloo, is about 10 minutes walking distance, and Putney Bridge (on the Wimbledon branch of the District Line) is also about 10 minutes. If travelling by car, there are plenty of parking bays nearby.
